Kawana - Buddina Surf Report

Outlook Info

Residual SSE swell slowly fades. wrapping up to 1 to 2ft along exposed breaks, otherwise tiny to near-flat along open beaches and inside the points and bays. Early WSW to SW winds at 5 to 15 knots see good quality on offer before they turn south during the day, then SE/ESE and easing in the afternoon.

    Updated 26 Aug 2019 @ 5:42 AM (local)

The swell has dropped some more overnight with waves along the exposed open beaches in the 1ft+ range. Surf conditions are looking good early with light NW winds at 5-10 knots with conditions deteriorating through the day as the NE winds kick in. The northern beach stretches from Coolum to Sunshine and along Kawana are your best bet of any surf action with smaller surf along Maroochydore, and Dicky Beach. It's looking great for a swim on the patrolled beaches with Kings Beach the pick of the spots. Enjoy your day in the waves. Spinksy.
